Me
A magical journey to New York City is what happened. Mike Farino had a job on a music video and they needed a little bit of extra equipment so he gave me a call. Still being in school has a few perks. The song was called “Silent Parade” by The Snow. I liked it.

These were some of the costumes, they were awesome and the shots were sick. Look for it whenever it comes out. The weekend was also kind of a trip for Becky because she had never been to NYC, so this was her Valentines Day present. But while we were in Times Square we ran into someone who was pretty familiar.

Steve Kardynal. He makes YouTube videos and does some pretty weird stuff, but it’s all video related so I enjoy it. I told him I was glad to have found another man in NYC wearing shorts but he quickly corrected me and said he was wearing a skirt. He complemented me on my mustache and I asked for a picture, then we were both on our way.
All in all it was a good weekend.

I won Freestyle Partial Beard at the All America City Beard and Moustache Contest 2011 (Get your beard on) in Somerville today. It was awesome. Becky was there as well as my friend Jess from back home and a bunch of other MassArt people (Tom, Anna, Jon and a few others) were there competing as well. Tom got top 3 in Full Beard Natural.
Anyways it was fun, and I totally have to go to Nationals now. Becky also said I get to get a tattoo because I won. Sweet.

Beard Mustache Competition Contest Somerville Me
Can someone please take this photo

and make me look like the guy on this medal in this photo

Thanks

In Somerville I won with a single moustache and four beard points. Detroit is a bigger contest, which means I need to go bigger, right? Here’s my idea, doublestache with six points.
Tumblr wont let me ask anymore questions, but let me know what you think?

Facial Hair Beard Moustache Contest Detroit Boston Me

Comic Blasphemy had this online beard contest that ended last night. Matt, the creator of the website, said he did an official count at midnight. I won.
It was a close race, and I must thank everyone who voted for me. The two other guys combined almost beat me. I must say I’m most excited because a partial beard (me) beat two full beards. Muahaha.
The contest was run a little differently than last year, but nonetheless the title of “Obey the Beard Champion” remains at MassArt; Tom Ward won last year.
